THE TRACTOR
Hinomoto C 174. I don’t know the exact year it was built, but it would be somewhere between a 1980 to 1985. As stated in the ad, it is a 20 HP, 3 cylinder, diesel engine; 4 wheel drive; 6 speed transmission; variable speed PTO; 3-point hydraulic lift. It had been completely rebuilt/refurbished when I bought it; even has new tires. I have used it to skid trees and move large rocks around on my lot and it has never lacked for power. Always started and never given me a moment’s trouble. It is the same as a Massey Ferguson 1010 or an Allis-Chalmers 5015. I’ve learned that Hinomoto actually manufactured their tractors in Japan and were sold in the U S under those American Brands.
THE BUSH HOG
This thing is so close to new that it hardly has the paint scuffed off the underside! I bought it as a used implement and have used it myself very little. It has a 48” cut and is ready to work.
WHY AM I SELLING? I bought this tractor from a guy in Mt. Airy last August in hopes of using it around my home to cut brush and weeds. As it turns out my lot is too steep to comfortably use this equipment. I’m going to have to buy a walk behind brush cutter, so I no longer have need of the tractor and bush hog.
YOU NEED TO KNOW that the price is non-negotiable. I’ve got the world of respect for anybody who likes to negotiate selling prices. But what I’m asking is what I’ve got in this rig. “Either yer innerstid, er ye ain’t!” Please don’t call and try to haggle a few dollars off. As I said, either you’re interested or you’re not!
IF YOU’RE INTERESTED, I’ll be happy to give you directions to my house in the Hoopers Creek area in north Henderson County, Fletcher, NC. Call me at home, 828-687-8196. If there’s no answer leave a message—I’ll get back in touch with you. If you need more information you can email me at branchonthevine@msn.com I have web sites where parts manuals and operation manuals are available if you’re interested.

I prefer to sell these together, but if you don't want both, the tractor goes for $4,500 and the bush hog for $500.
Let me assure you—If you’re looking for a little work horse for home, construction, landscape business, or farm use this will give you years of service.
